"I love creating. I imagine my creations floating through a landscape riddled with mystery and divine beauty." My passion is to create movement, line, direction and beautiful colour. My design motivation is to create gowns that women can express their inner goddess and above all feel ethereal.

In 2004, Melissa Kritsotakis was elated to be awarded UTS student of the year graduating from a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles with her first collection gaining national and international attention. Her creations were displayed at the Powerhouse Museum and also chosen for a World exhibition in Dusseldorf Germany. Following in 2005 Melissa was awarded the UTS young Alumni of the Year. This year also saw her present her portfolio to Italian designer Roberto Cavalli who personally contacted Melissa requesting her to work for him in Florence.

Melissa spent two years working alongside the head designer and Eva Cavalli at the Roberto Cavalli Headquarters in Florence. She contributed to many of the most successful designs for the company. In 2006, one of her designs was the Cavalli first line bestseller and broke records for the company. It was also worn on the Oscars Red Carpet! The trip inspired Melissa to persue her dream of making her label international and now in 2014 Melissa is set to launch her online shop, has started stocking in Fashion Boutiques Nationally and is about to be on the move again with some exciting ventures already lined up, the world is awaiting!
